Bharathi College of Pharmacy, Bharathinagara, was founded in 1985 by Late Dr. G. Madegowda, the honourable Ex- Member of Parliament and former minister of Government of Karnataka, under the auspice of Bharathi Education Trust(R). The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, approved by Pharmacy Council of India and All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, Board of Examining authority, Bangalore (D.Pharm), and Government of Karnataka.

It is located in a beautiful atmosphere spread over a 25 acre campus with massive building, spacious class rooms, and well-equipped laboratories, imported instruments for research, well stocked library and play ground. Well qualified, experienced and dedicated staffs, provide excellent coaching.
