Department of Pharmacognosy

The Department Of Pharmacognosy confers knowledge to the undergraduate and postgraduate students about the microscopical and macroscopical aspects of plant drugs used as curative measures. In addition, the department imparts knowledge about the screening and identification of drugs as well. In addition to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, we have doctorate programme as well. The department has 6 staff members who are eminent in both and practical sectors.All the staff members are stuffed with research and review papers of considerable impact factor. The department is equipped with all the equipment that are essential for students who undergo research in undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels.The noticeable equipment in our department includes, laminar air flow bench, autoclave, hot air oven, incubator, and biochemical oxygen demand incubator.
